Cerebro, Subject X, Test 01
Jun. 25th, 2012 12:49 pmHank arrived at Cerebro an hour before everyone else as he had to start the computer and generator, both of which tended to take some time to warm up. He also wanted to test the calibrations and run the system through a diagnostic as it'd been a while since he had anyone willing to test it out. The last agent who tried was still in the infirmary complaining of migraines and vertigo.

Hank's lab, at the wind tunnel
Jun. 25th, 2012 12:37 pmHank had a terrible time sleeping last night due to two factors, not being alone in the world anymore and Raven. The Raven factor was many fold and danced in his head even when he finally did manage to sleep; her beauty, how he wished he could help her be normal, how she thought he was amazing, how beautiful she was, and how he wanted to know more about her.
When he woke a thought hit him and he closed his eyes to better see the molecular bonds of his formula. Like Archimedes he wanted to shout "Eureka!" as he realized Raven may hold the key to both his own awkward mutation and her own. But how to approach this? One didn't just walk up to ladies and ask them for their blood. Not if you wanted to have a chance at getting said blood anyway. He decided another lunch might be a way to broach the subject and so sent her an invitation for lunch in his lab.
He couldn't resist a post script promising a surprise though.

Pre-Milliways
Jun. 21st, 2012 08:35 amHank is far from stupid and is quick to pick up on the use of the name Shaw. He knows he's not trained for field work, he's a research scientist, he makes the tools the field agents have come to depend on. But for the first time he has faces to go with the field "agents" and he wants to do more. He wants to ensure the safety of those field agents, those who are like him. For the first time in his life, Hank knows he isn't alone, that there are those like him, mutants and he will help them whether he has clearance or not.
Finding Shaw's cryptonym was a bit of a challenge as well as what codename the case was given. Once he had that though, it was a simple matter to find the vault all associated materials were kept in. He stood before that vault now, a little nervous as what he was about to do could get him in a lot of trouble but he was just as convinced he was a valueable enough asset that if he did get in trouble it wouldn't last long. So he took a calming breath and opened the vault door to...a bar?Hank's Lab, Covert CIA Base
Jun. 10th, 2012 08:27 amHank had been thinking about his lunch (turkey and swiss on rye, a coke and macaroni salad as always; though maybe he'd get a Twinky today) when he heard the facility's Director enter his lab. "...Capable of super sonic flight!" The Director was saying proudly, making Hank guess they had some more Washington brass to impress. He stood, straightened his lab coat and adopted his casual yet serious stance.
"You should see the real thing if you want to be impressed," he said when the group finally turned around a corner and into view. The group was odd as only one person was in a suit. Washington Brass always wore suits and there were two woman with them. Agent Mactaggert he recognized, though he didn't know her name, but the blonde....she took his breath away. He stood frozen in awe and swallowed.

Rating: It's clean.
Summery: After the final battle Hank find a depowered Mystique.

(Definitely need to flesh this one out, especially that last line. While it makes sense for the allusion to X-Men: First Class, it doesn't fit a more mature and experienced Hank.)
